Hola lovely people,
Hope you all are doing great!
Today I have a very interesting yet informative topic to discuss. It is about the Latest Trend of Polo Shirts and the difference between Polo Shirt and Polo Neck.
The reason why I am writing about the difference between Polo Shirt and Polo Neck is because, in the past I spoke to many people who didn’t know the difference or didn’t know that they are two different things, no shame in fact as at one point even I myself was confused. So no more confusion lets know the difference.
A polo shirt, also known as a golf shirt and tennis shirt, is a form of shirt with a collar, a placket with typically two or three buttons, and an optional pocket. All three terms may be used interchangeably. Polo shirts are usually made of knitted cloth (rather than woven cloth), usually piqué cotton or, less commonly, silk, merino wool, or synthetic fibers. A dress-length version of the shirt is called a polo dress.
A polo neck, roll-neck (UK) or turtleneck (US, Canada) or skivvy (Australia, New Zealand) is a garment—usually a sweater—with a close-fitting, round, and high collar that folds over and covers the neck. It can also refer to type of neckline, the style of collar itself, or be used as an adjective (“polo necked”).
Hope you are no more baffled understanding the difference between a polo shirt and a polo neck.
