A little about golden temple
Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib or Golden Temple, is a Sikh Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions.
The Harimandir Sahib is considered holy. The holiest text of Sikhism, the Guru Granth Sahib, is always present inside the Gurdwara. Its construction was mainly intended to build a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. Over 100,000 people visit the holy shrine daily for worship.
The best months to visit are October and November, and February and March. This sacred Sikh shrine attracts pilgrims from all over the world who come there to pay their respects and do voluntary service. The main temple looks particularly arresting at night when it’s beautifully lit up, with its imposing pure gold dome illuminated. It’s well worth two visits — during the day and night. Heads must be covered when you enter the temple.
Contemporary yet chic look:
Ethnic had never looked better when “Kareena Kapoor “ in “Jab We Met” had worn this attire. But this trend is totally in these days also.
